The medicine you tell us about, your doses and injection sites, your weight, meals, water, side effects, goals and the targets you set. If you sign in with Apple, a user id and the email address Apple shares with us, which can be a private relay address. If you do not sign in, a random id for this install (no name or email) so photo and typed meal logging can work, with a count of AI uses per day to keep the service fair. Usage events such as "dose logged", "water logged" or "paywall viewed", with how often you use each feature and settings such as your water unit, but never a dose, a weight, a severity, a note, which medicine you take or which side effect you logged.
On your iPhone. If you sign in, also in WeGoal's own database on Google Firebase in the United States, so a new phone or a reinstall never loses your history. Your health data is never stored in iCloud and never sold.
Only when you allow it in the app, meal photos, nutrition-label photos and typed meal descriptions are sent through WeGoal's server to OpenAI to identify the foods. Nothing else is sent: not your name, medicine, doses, weight or side effects. The names of the foods found may also be searched on Open Food Facts (packaged products) and, through OpenAI's web search, on the web (restaurant and brand items). Nutrient values come from the USDA food database where it has the food, otherwise from Open Food Facts, the brand's published nutrition, or an AI estimate, and the app shows which. You can turn this off at any time in Settings.
Only when you turn it on, WeGoal writes your weight, protein and water to Apple Health and reads your weight from it. Data from Apple Health is never used for advertising or marketing and never shared with an advertising platform.
If you post an idea or vote on the in-app board, the text you write is visible to other signed-in WeGoal users. Your name and email are not shown.
WeGoal contains no advertising SDKs.
Export all your data as a spreadsheet or a PDF report from Settings. Delete your account and all server data from Settings at any time; the data on your phone is deleted with it. To stop AI processing or Apple Health sharing, turn them off in Settings.
WeGoal is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
